If Vonnegut, Wallace, Bryson and Bukowski had books coming out this fall too, I might be forced to stop working for the rest of the year. Still, five new books from my favorite writers in the same couple of months is staggering.
I went to the library for the Chabon book only to be told I'm number 101 on the waiting list. And I'm really not sure if I can wait till Christmas either...

Re: Eating Animals. interestingly enough I've been deer hunting this year. Trying my best to become one of the few and proud: WMichiganders. 1 in 6 MI residents hunt... that's like 1 in 3 outside of Detroit :)
